Instructors in community-based health promotion research methods may wish
to consider visiting the University of Toronto's Quality of Life Research
Unit WWW site:
http://www.utoronto.ca/qol.

There, information can be obtained about the Community Quality of Life
Approach that was developed to provide information about neighbourhood
strengths and weaknesses as related by community members, service
providers, and local representatives. Within the site can be found:

I. A description of the community quality of life approach.
II. Free downloadable copies of the Conclusions, Findings, and Write-Up
Reports from two local studies.
III. An overview of the Community QOL Manual and how to obtain copies.

   Canalising a river
   Grafting a fruit tree
   Educating a person
   Transforming a state
These are instances of fruitful criticism
And at the same time instances of art.
