Telehealth Researcher

The University of Calgary Department of Community Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time academic position in telehealth.  This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop an independent research program in telehealth within a multid
isciplinary environment.  Duties also include liaison with the Health Research Group, graduate supervision and teaching, and 75% of time will be protected for research.

Qualifications include a PhD and/or MD, and an established record of publications and external grant support in research methodologies applicable to telehealth.  While the selected candidate must compete successfully for salary and grant support from exte
rnal agencies such as the Alberta Health Foundation for Medical Research and/or the Medical Research Council of Canada, salary support will be available initially.  The candidate will be expected to apply externally in the second year.

In accordance with the Canadian immigration requirements, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.  The University of Calgary respects, appreciates and encourages diversity.

Please submit a detailed curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and goals, and reprints of two recent publications, as well as arrange for three letters of reference to be sent directly, by November 15, 1998 to:
