Reports to:  Chief Medical Officer/Dallas and Health Education
Director/Las Vegas

Director for Texas Health Choice Health Education and Wellness
Department.  Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Health Education, Health
Science, Public Health or related field. Master's Degree and Certified
Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred.  Must have at least 3
years experience in management, supervision, business, budget, and
marketing in the field of Health Education .  Ability to establish and
maintain effective relationships with employees, management, members,
and the public. Excellent command of oral and written language skills,
public speaking and exceptional organizational skills.  Ability to
formulate workplans within prescribed time limits with minimal
supervision.  Strong self-starter.  Experience in Health Education
planning, implementation, and evaluation required. Must be able to
develop and promote health education programs to reduce medical
expenditures, provide education, promote marketing and public
relations.
