Hi Everyone on CLICK4HP!

I haven't introduced myself as yet, but I've been subscribed to the list
almost since the beginning. One of the projects that I am working on right
now is for the Centre for Health Promotion at the University of Toronto. I
am developing a list of resources (workbooks, articles, organizations,
contact people etc) on a few different topics. These resource lists are
being developed for District Health Council's across the Province of Ontario
to complement their district health promotion planning.

The topic of sustainability is one that I am researching. It is a topic of
great interest and an issue for many in the field, but finding resources or
good articles is proving to be a challenge! If anyone on the list has
suggestions, please pass them on to me. I'm particularly interested in work
related to:

-keeping health promotion on the agenda of communities, funders, etc.

-key factors in developing initiatives that will be sustainable

-examples of community health promotion initiatives that have proven
themselves sustainable

I would also be curious to learn what health promoters in the field think
are the key factors in developing initiatives that are sustainable. Perhaps
this could be a discussion item for the listserv.

Regards,

Elise.
