Carol Kushner is a health policy consultant, best known for
having
written two best selling books:  Second Opinion:  What's
wrong with
Canada's health care system and how to fix it (1989) and
Strong
Medicine:  How to save Canada's health care system (1994).
She has been
extensively involved in long term care reform acting as a
consultant to
many CCACs across Ontario and providing insights into the
need for
services that are more responsive to the preferences of
clients and
their caregivers.
