CLICK4HP Archives traffic into monthly files. You can get the list of file
names by sending  the following one line to [log in to unmask]

INDEX CLICK4HP

You will get the return message as below. To get a particular month's
file send a one line message to [log in to unmask] saying

GET CLICK4HP LOGXXYY     where XX = YEAR = 96 and YY = Month: {02...09}

the nrecs col tells you how many lines in the file. There has been just
under 20,000 lines or about 360 pages of print - or 300 pages with the
headers removed.

I for one find that I get more out of these 300 pages than I do 300 pages
of what my favorite print Journals send me at a much higher cost - and
with frequently not much wider diffusion.

This tells me that this virtual workspace will join print Journals as a
permanent part of the information landscape - and in the process will
redefine what a print journal should be - and how the information flow
should be split between the two vehicles. Relative costs, access, and
technology will have a role to play in the process as well.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
