Re: Cancellation of the 2003 Adolescent Reproductive Health Conference

The 2003 Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Conference organizing
committee hereby announces the very regrettable decision to cancel the
conference that had been scheduled for 25-28 August 2003 in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The unfortunate decision to cancel the 2003 ARH conference has been made in
light of some unexpected developments that made full participation of all
tentative guests extremely difficult.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may eventuate as a result
of this unforeseeable change. However, please understand that this has not
been an easy decision for us and that it comes after intense discussion with
conference stakeholders.  We are keen to pursue similar learning
opportunities involving international exchange in the future and shall keep
you informed of any developments.
