        "Autonomy in Community Settings: A Framework"
        Explores the structural features necessary in a
        Community to nurture autonomy

JUNE CALLWOOD - Journalist, Social Commentator, Activist
        "Speaking Out"

Workshop Leaders:

Peter Allatt - "Home Care: what is autonomy?"  Is autonomy
        for the family absolute or relative, open or
        limited?

Cathy Crowe and Kathy Hardill - "When choice is chilling"
        Ethical issues around homelessness

Gloria Murrant and Len Lopez - "Caring and diversity" How
        issues of diversity and autonomy intersect in
        community settings

Kathryn Smith - "People with developmental disabilities"
        Providing support when a person's capacity to
        formulate and pursue plans is limited

This conference has been organized by a group of health care
providers from various Toronto agencies who are committed to
fostering discussion of ethical issues in the community.

Cost: (includes lunch and nutrition breaks): $55.
      Full time students: $25
