The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council wishes to inform
you of the launching of a new funding program:  the Research Development
Initiatives (RDI).  Please note that the International Summer Institutes
program has been absorbed into this new program, and that applications
for Summer institutes activities may be submitted under the new RDI
