Target Hiring Range $61,219 to $71,424
One year Renewable Contract

Description
As the Ontario-based project lead for OHAfrica, you will be responsible for
managing a dynamic and collaborative partnership of the Ontario Hospital
Association (OHA), The Change Foundation (TCF), hospitals and other
stakeholders with the objective of supporting treatment and care initiative for
those living with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Reporting to the President of The Change Foundation, you will be an integral
member of the project team responsible for providing leadership, direction and
service to OHAfrica, on both policy and operational issues. Specifically you
will:

Manage, coordinate and support the development and implementation of:
  - A marketing and communications plan, including fundraising  activities
  - A resource plan for project sustainability
  - Recruitment, orientation and placement of Lesotho Clinical Team  members;

Forge new relationship with potential sponsors, funders and partners;

Prepare grant and other funding proposals;

Manage the administration of the budget;

Supervise the administrative staff assigned to OHAfrica;

Develop, manage and monitor any agreements and contracts;

Provide direction and support to committees and working groups;

Prepare briefing notes, presentations and communiqués;

Work closely with the staff of the OHA including the President and CEO, Vice
President of Member and Professional Relations and Director, Public Affairs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess expertise and knowledge in project and process
management issues, including experience with successful fundraising and
marketing events. Exposure to resource development, health care, international
development work in Africa, and/or HIV/AIDS would be an asset.

You are a well-organized, high energy, innovative individual interested in
working on a high profile initiative.  You also have well-developed leadership,
analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.  You have the ability to
work under pressure and within multiple deadlines, and to be responsive within
a dynamic environment.  Demonstrated ability to be a team player, with the
ability to coordinate the efforts of diverse groups of professionals round out
your qualifications.

These skills would normally be acquired through a combination of formal
education in Business Administration/Management, and five or more years of
experience in a managerial or consulting role.
