Dr. Brenda Toner at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health has done
a lot of work in this area.  My understanding is that it is a relatively "new"
diagnosis which many people are not aware of - even though the actual
problem may not be new.  I will forward your message to her email and
perhaps she can respond with access to specific information.

I have stomach problems for many years and my gastroenterologist has
just diagnosed it as ' Irritable Bowel Syndrome'.  Does anybody know
