Field Projects Coordinator - Mines
--------------------------------------------------------
Handicap International (HI), France, seeks two persons to
work as Field Projects Coordinators - Mines.  Based at HI
headquarters in Lyon, France, the Field Projects
Coordinator reinforces the team of the Mines Coordination
Unit (demining, mine awareness, survey) in a role that
assures the human and financial resources and logistics
for the programmes for which s/he has responsibility, in
close collaboration with field personnel.

Requirements: Fluency in either French or English with
excellent communications skills in the other; knowledge
of German or Portuguese a plus; higher level education
(management, development assistance, international
relations, administration); experience in the
development, training and management of a team and of
projects in the humanitarian field including several
years experience in developing countries.  Preference for
those who have experience with the management of mine
action projects in the field (mine clearance, mine
awareness, survey); at ease working in a team and
excellent commmunications skills (speaking and writing);
organized and disciplined, able to work with minimal
supervision; freedom to travel extensively.

The post is full time (35 hours/week) at the headquarters
of Handiap International in Lyon, France.  Renumeration
is on the order of 162K French Francs annually.  A CV &

Coordinateur/trice des Programmes Mines

Handicap International, France, recherche deux personnes
pour travailler en tant que Coordinateur/trice des
Programmes Mines (CPM).  Base a Lyon, siege de Handicap
International, le CPM vient renforcer l'equipe du
Departement Mines (programmes de deminage et de
sensibilisation des populations au danger des mines,
enquete d'impact socio-economique des mines) dans un role
de coordination des ressources humaines, financieres et
techniques des programmes dont il/elle a la
responsabilite, et en appui aux equipes de terrain.

Exigences:  Francais ou anglais courants (oral et ecrit)
avec de bonnes capacites de communications dans la
seconde; formation superieure (gestion, aide au
developpement, relations internationales, management);
experience confirmee d'animation, de formation et de
coordination d'equipes et de projets dans le cadre du
deminage humanitaire incluant plusieurs annees en tant
qu'expatrie dans les pays en voie de developpement; une
preference pour ceux qui ont une experience dans le
management de projets d'action contre les mines
(deminage, sensibilisation au danger des mines, enquete
d'impact socio-economique des mines); esprit d'equipe,
capacites de formation et de communication ecrite et
orale; organisation et rigueur, avec un capacite a
travailler un minimum sous supervision; mobilite
geographique importante.

Il s'agit d'un poste a plein temps (35 heures) au siege
de l'Association Handicap International a Lyon.
