Like the GOODTIMES virus - the AOL virus is a hoax. It is a good idea to
bookmark this site: http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html

It is an excellent and (regularly updated) site which tracts such hoaxes in
a effort to stop people from reposting these types of messages. The AOL
virus is described there.

If you lose the site in the future and you want to check out a suspect
message do an alta vista search with the key words internet+hoax it will
produce about 38 sites which will help you to determine if the message is real.
