EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
(0.5 FTE Contract Position)
An energetic, self-motivated individual with a baccalaureate degree and
experience in public health is being recruited for the above position.

As Executive Director you clearly articulate public health philosophy,
have a well-developed network within the public health system, and have
demonstrated organization, communication, and computer skills.

Duties of the Executive Director include the development of proposals
and work plans, response to inquiries and communications, fostering of
stakeholder relationships, co-ordination of Board activities and
meetings and facilitation of the biennial conference.

The Executive Director provides office space, phone/fax line and
computer with internet access to fulfil the demands of this position.
Since this position requires travel across the province, access to a
reliable vehicle and valid Alberta drivers’ license is mandatory.

Salary is commensurate with experience and education; expenses are
covered. Since this is a contract position, there are no benefits
included.
