A full time, permanent position is available at Trillium Health Centre based
in Mississauga and Etobicoke for Coordinator of the Health Information &
Wellness Centre.

Position Summary:

Trillium Health Centre is committed to helping clients, physicians and
community members access vital health information that will improve their
health status and make them better informed health care consumers.  Our
two-site resource centres provide a relaxed setting for patients, family
members, physicians, staff and the general community to seek out
information.

You have experience in health promotion and education, in program planning,
implementation and evaluation, preferably within a related setting.  Your
knowledge, energy and enthusiasm help maintain a dynamic environment that is
inviting, supportive and beneficial to clients in their quest for health
information.

Position Scope:

        ·       Coordinating and evaluating the resource centre at two sites
        ·       Assisting staff, physicians and community members in
accessing vital health information on emerging health issues and trends to
improve their health status

Skills, Experience and Values:

                ·               Degree in health services discipline
(Relevant Master's level preferred)
                ·       At least three years of experience working in a
related setting
                ·       Demonstrated experience in health promotion and
education
                ·       Demonstrated experience with technology to support
consumer health information initiatives
                ·       Experience working with volunteers
                        Experience in program planning, development, and
evaluation.
