The Centre for Families, Work & Well-Being at the University of Guelph, in
partnership with the Office of Open Learning, is running two full-day Thursday
workshops on Workplace Wellness.
The workshops are designed to meet the needs of workplace wellness specialists
such as human resources managers, private sector wellness practitioners,
occupational health and safety personnel, nutritionists, community health
workers, researchers and others with an interest in worklife initiatives.
The first session, entitled Introduction to Workplace Wellness will be held on
May 22nd; the second entitled Social Support in the Workplace will be held on
June 26th. Both workshops will be held at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and
Conference Centre in Mississauga, with lunch and a comprehensive resource binder
included in the fee.
Each interactive session features 4 speakers who have extensive experience in
researching, developing, delivering and/or evaluating organizational health and
wellness programs.
