Announcement!

The Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) will join with the Ontario
Public Health Association (OPHA) and the Regional Muncipality of Ottawa
Carleton in Y2000 to present the 91st CPHA and the 51st OPHA Conference.
The joint Conference will take place from October 22-25, 2000 in Ottawa.
 The Theme is "Health for all in the Year 2000" The call for abstracts is
available and sub-themes include:
* Health for Aboriginal Peoples
* Equity and Health for All
* Innovative Approaches to Health for All
* International Health

The deadline for abstract submissions for posters, scientific or practice
papers and workshops is January 9, 2000.  There will NOT be a separate call
for abstracts for OPHA in Y2000.  For guidelines and further information,
