Requires

Position:  Health Promoter
Full- time  (35 hours/week)

Location:  Rainy River District (Atikokan, Emo, Fort Frances, or Rainy
River)

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in education, physical education, health
sciences, social sciences, or media/communications.
 Experience working with a variety of community partners in a community
setting.
  Demonstrated computer skills including inter-net and world-wide web
experience.
 Demonstrated analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills and
excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation with a
preference for public health experience in physical activity promotion.
Experience working within a team and an ability to work independently.

Willingness to work flexible hours.

Duties: Support management, staff and community partners with the
development, implementation and evaluation of chronic disease prevention
programs.  The Health Promoter will work in a team environment that supports
community participation and professional development.

Salary:   $21.68 to $25.24/hour

Other: Access to transportation required.
Mileage allowance provided.
