Palmgrove - a Christian Community in Africa
------------------------------------------------------------
In the Fall of 1989 a group of Nigerians, concerned about the needs of
their people, wrote asking to become part of the Hutterian Brethren
Church. Two of their leaders, Inno Idiong and John Jacob Obot,
visited
Crystal Spring Colony, Manitoba, Canada, staying for two months to
experience the life of a Christian community.
They asked them to come to Nigeria to help establish a similar
community, based on the true Christian faith and life of brotherhood.
Contributions of money, equipment, and supplies will provide resources
and encouragement in their efforts towards reaching their goal of
making
Palmgrove a self-sufficient community.
