Tenure: Two years, first year probationary period
Division/Program/Office: Management and Information Support (ACS)

Basic Salary: $38,291 at single rate, $40,997 staff member with
primary
dependent (per annum net of taxes)
Post Adjustment:  $$11,334 at single rate, $12,135 staff member with
primary dependent (per annum net of taxes)

Minimum Requirements:
Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems
engineering,
engineering, mathematics, business administration, or a field related
to
systems analysis and software development.  A master's degree would be

an asset.
Experience:  Seven year of experience in the application of management

and information processing techniques to the solution of complex
administrative systems problems, including supervising the successful
design and implementation of LAN-based, multi-user computer and
database
projects, functioning as a programmer of major administrative systems,

and programming with Widows or Visual tools.
Skills:  Must possess a thorough understanding of administrative
business processes such as budget, accounting, payroll, personnel, and

procurement, as well as proven technical skills in systems analysis
and
software development.  Responsibilities also require familiarity with
the theory and practical application of relational database theory,
visual and object oriented programming techniques, and programming for

multi-user LAN systems and for systems that will use the mainframe and

personal computer simultaneously.  Skills in specific products should
include:  DOS, Windows 95, Novell LANs, SQL, Visual Basic, project
management software, and data modelling tools.
Languages:  Very good knowledge of English with a working knowledge of

Spanish.
