RE: American University of Kinshasa's Medical School in the
Congo(formerly Zaire), Africa, Needs Your Best Advice for Fundraising,
Support and Referrals.

I'm the President of the American University of Kinshasa. The American
University of Kinshasa, a private university, has rapidly grown in
four years to its present enrollment of over 800 students served by 44
faculty. Most popular majors include accredited programs in Medicine,
Nursing, Engineering, and Humanities.

The focus of this University is on: contributing to Africa's economic
and social change, education and health care of women and men;
promoting awareness of exchange opportunities between Africa and
United States for the benefit of people on both sides; training
Africans in American-style education, thus preparing them to work
harmoniously with international business practices.

In order to gain support for the university critical resources and
wide priorities, including gifts-in-kind of labs, medical equipment
for the university teaching hospital as well as money to create a
biomedical center+medicinal plants research. I need your best advice.
Does anyone have concrete suggestions regarding any of the following
aspects: Contact information, networking capabilities, sponsorships,
volunteerism, fund-raisers or public relations?

The American University of Kinshasa provides Americans and the
International Community opportunities for study-abroad programs,
faculty exchange, cultural or educational visits in the Central Africa
region, professional internships and corporate relationships.

We welcome ideas, suggestions, leads, and sponsors to help bring this
initiative to speedy and greater success. I would apologize in advance
for those who might receive this message more than once, as I might
post equivalent messages to relevant lists.
