Join the discussion about youth!
One out of three Africans is between 10 and 24 years old, a high proportion living in urban settings.  One out of three children ages 5 to 14 must work. Even for those in young adulthood, one-quarter is illiterate.  More than one-third of young African women are married and one out of four is a mother by age 18.  Participate in the upcoming forum titled, "Rapidly growing youth populations and the implications for family planning and other health and development programs" to learn more and share your knowledge and experiences.

Un Africain sur trois est âgé de 10 à 24 ans, et une forte proportion vit dans des contextes urbains. Un enfant sur trois âgé de 5 à 14 ans doit travailler. Un quart des jeunes adultes ne savent ni lire ni écrire. Plus d'un tiers des jeunes Africaines sont mariées, et une sur quatre a déjà un enfant lors de son 18e anniversaire Participez au prochain forum intitulé « La croissance rapide des populations jeunes et ses implications pour la planification familiale et les autre programmes de santé et de développement » pour en apprendre davantage et faire part de vos connaissances et de vos expériences.
