September 15th is the deadline for registration savings for the 20th
Canadian Conference on Global Health  

	Don’t miss Canada’s biggest event in global health, now celebrating
its 20th year! The Canadian Conference on Global Health - Global Health in
2013: Are We Having an Impact?  will look at the Millennium Development
Goals and other current initiatives, and the potential impact of future
initiatives.  Planning for the Post 2015 Agenda is underway, and it is
critical that the global health community works to ensure that health stays
in the agenda, while being integrated into future sustainable development
strategies. 

	Plenary themes discussed will be: 

	•             MDGs: Progress made and lessons learned with global and
regional perspectives 

	•             Are we Making an Impact? The Remaining Challenges 

	•             The Post 2015 Agenda 

	Sub-plenary sessions will examine plenary subjects in greater detail. Join
us for discussions on: 

	 ·         Sunday: Progress Made and Lessons Learned
 1. Health System Strengthening 
 2. Maternal and Child Health 
 3. TB/HIV 
 4. Public Health and the MDGs 

	 ·         Monday: Are we Having an Impact? The Remaining Challenges
 1. The Global Mental Health agenda 
 2. Can We Have an Impact Without Inclusion?: Disability, The Missing MDG 
 3. HCV, HIV/AIDS, STIs Sectors 
 4. Gendering the Interconnections of Population Health, Health Systems
Planning, and Human Development 

	 ·         Tuesday: The Post 2015 Agenda
 1. Maternal, newborn, and child health, post-2015 
 2. Safety and security in health care provision 
 3. A Global governance for health approach to address the health agenda in
the post 2015 agenda 
 4. Mainstreaming Environmental Initiatives into the Global Health Agenda 
	Over 15 plenary speakers, 75 posters, 45 oral presentations and 15
symposia will be presented. Networking opportunities 
	include the Global Networking Café and Regional Roundtables, as well as a
global documentary night with discussion panel.
