FOREIGN POLICY INTERNSHIP for summer

INTERNSHIP - FOREIGN POLICY - DECLASSIFIED PAPERS

THE NATIONAL SECURITY ARCHIVE, an independent, nonprofit research
institute and library, seeks a student intern to assist part-time
on a project concerning US relation with Cuba.

The internship is unpaid. Academic credit is often possible;
students should  contact their schools for more details.

REQUIREMENTS:  The position is available immediately. Please
note that applicants must be able to make a commitment for a
minimum of two months, 10-20 hours a week.  Those seeking a longer
commitment and more hours are welcome.

Foreign students are welcome. We can give you a hand making housing
arrangements.

SENIOR SPECIALIST, POPULATION AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
Position  Available - CIDA

The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is
seeking suitable candidates for an Interchange Canada
assignment as Senior Specialist, Population and Reproductive
Health in Policy Branch.

The Interchange Canada programme promotes employee
assignments for periods of up to 3 years between the
federal Public Service (CIDA, in this case) and
organizations in other sectors of the Canadian economy.

The Senior Specialist, Population and Reproductive Health,
will ensure the overall quality of CIDA's programming in
the population and reproductive health sector, representing
an annual budget of approximately $50 million.

Potential candidates should meet the following minimum
requirements:

*a combination of university degree in the area of health, a
post graduate degree in the field of public health,
including sufficient knowledge of demography and practical
experience as an academic/practitioner and manager.

*bilingual (English and French)

*extensive experience in developing countries

*team building skills

*strong leadership abilities

L'Agence canadienne de developpement international (ACDI)
cherche actuellement des candidats que pourrait interesser
une affectation a titre de specialiste principal en
population et sante genesique dans le cadre du Programme
Échanges Canada.

Echanges Canada encourage l'affectation de personnel, pour
des periodes pouvant atteindre trois ans, entre la Fonction

secteurs economiques canadiens.

Le specialiste principal, Population et sante genesique,
