Project Officer - Bangladesh Nutrition Surveillance Project

Helen Keller International, a US based non-governmental organization,
is recruiting a project officer for its nutrition surveillance
project (NSP) in Bangladesh.  The NSP produces, analyses and
promotes the use of child health and nutrition data for project
management and review and disaster preparedness and response.  The
project officer nutrition will focus on health and nutrition
analyses working closely with the project officer economics.  The
position is based in Dhaka, with up to 20% time spent in travel to
rural areas of the country.

Qualifications include, A Master level degree in a relevant field
(public health or nutrition) prior professional experience in a
developing country, excellent English writing skills, demonstrated
analytic skills including a sound understanding of nutritional
epidemiology, capacity to work with a team with diverse professional
backgrounds and willingness to travel to remote field sites.
Experience in gender analyses and experience in South Asia are a plus.


Salary will be in the range of US $23,000 to US $25,000 per annum.
HKI’s standard  benefit package will apply. Contract will be

EPI cold chain integrity as well as the supervision of ongoing skills
upgrade in health centers. RN with previous teaching experience
required
with developing courntry experience. French speaking skills preferred.

Burundi: Surgical/OR Nurse OR/surgical nurse to provide expertise for
surgical and medical emergencies to Rutana Provincial 70 bed hospital
staff and to assist IMC general surgeon.  RN with French speaking
skill
preferred.

Minimum requirements:
Education:  A university degree in accounting, finance, or related
field

Experience:  Twelve years of progressively more responsible accounting

and auditing experience, including five years at the supervisory level

at the national and/or international level.  Work experience in

Skills:  Thorough knowledge of accounting and audition principles
and their application, together with a broad knowledge of financial
matters.  Ability to work without supervision.  Strong interpersonal

System desirable.

required.  Experience in handling large data sets would be an asset.
