*Call for Abstracts: 23rd IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion – WAIORA: Promoting Planetary Health and Sustainable Development for All*

April 7-11, 2019

Rotorua, New Zealand

 
The Global Scientific Committee invites you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 23rd IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion. With 3000 delegates expected from New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands, the wider Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa, it will be an invaluable forum for those in the sector to exchange knowledge and build networks, in order to:

*	Share strategies, policies and practices;
*	Present results and assess progress;
*	Influence policy and bring about positive change;
*	Promote health and equity amongst all people.

 
Abstracts can be submitted in eight different formats: 1) symposium, 2) workshop, 3) research oral/poster presentation, 4) innovation in policy and practice oral/poster presentation, 5) round table discussion, 6) alternative showing/new technology, 7) alternative showing/art, and 8) lunch with an author. 

 
We encourage submissions to match the sub-themes of the Conference: Health equity; Inclusive habitats; Climate change adaptation strategies; and Build effective, accountable and inclusive governance. During submission you will be able to select ONE submission format and ONE theme per abstract.

 
All abstracts must be submitted through this online form: https://tcc.eventsair.com/iuhpe-2019/abstracts. Abstracts can be submitted in English, French, Spanish and Maori (the submission must be made in the language of the presentation at the Conference).
