Join us in an exciting and dynamic forum for knowledge exchange and
networking in the field of aging at CAG2018: Making It Matter: Mobilizing
Aging Research, Practice & Policy, the 47th Annual Scientific and
Educational Meeting of the Canadian Association on Gerontology:

CAG2018 will be of interest to researchers, practitioners, decision- and
policy-makers, students, older adults, community groups and all others with
an interest in individual and population aging.  It is an interdisciplinary
event featuring stimulating sessions across a diverse range of topics in
gerontology and geriatrics.

Along with many thought-provoking symposium, paper, poster and workshop
presentations and networking opportunities, program highlights at present
include:

| Pre-conference events on reducing social isolation; improving mental
health; sensory-motor research; and engaging people with dementia in
research

| Keynote addresses from Carol Brayne (Cambridge); Dale Dannefer (Case
Western); Catharine Ward Thompson (Edinburgh); and Roger Wong (UBC)

| Sponsored sessions on home care work; frailty; healthy aging; housing;
and dementia support

| Stimulating oral, poster, symposium and workshop sessions, including CAG
Divisional Symposia

| Student and recent graduate events, including speed networking; a
symposium on leading in gerontology; a luncheon hosted by the CIHR
Institute of Aging; the CIHR-IA Student Poster Competition; and a visit to
Science World
