From the Prenatal Ed Update
Vol. 3 #1 January 15, 1998

Two out of three maternal health professionals
responding to a Prenatal Ed Poll say that "lack of
availability of quality print materials is a major
barrier to prenatal education efforts." Those who
disagree site obstacles to effective use of
materials, most notably lack of funding...

"Pregnancy is tough enough as it is..."
The increasing number and complexity of
prenatal procedures and growing emphasis on
mothers' responsibility for self-care and
self-management increases the need for printed
information.
