Evaluation Coordinator

The Hincks Institute in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an Evaluation
Coordinator for a half time position with a national project aimed at
enhancing existing early intervention programs to foster language and
cognitive developement in infants (aged 0 to 4 years). This is a
contract position renewable for up to 5 years.

Job Description
The Evaluation Coordinator will work with the Director of Evaluation in
developing and implementing a cross-site evaluation. The specific duties
will include ensuring the maintenance of programming in seven project
sites across Canada according to the site's proposal and implementation
plan, having ongoing collaborative communications with site staff and
with the designated site project coordinator, training and supervising
site research assistants, making site visits, helping to maintain
records regarding process of program formation, maintenance, and
outcome. It is expected that working hours will be flexible.

Qualifications
A master's degree or equivalent in the social sciences and experience in
working with complex multifaceted community based projects. Excellent
communication, planning, organizational, and time management skills are
essential. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
and interest in infant and preschool development are also important. The
candidate must have an understanding of the rigor required in carrying
out a program evaluation. The ability to speak French and comfort with
computers are assets.
