This $10 figure is widely supported.

Two matters are worth noting, however:

    a) The $10 figure here in Southern Ontario is not considered to be 
the basis, alone, of a family living wage from a single-wage earner in a 
house-hold.

    b) It is *vital* that an Annual,Independent Review body be 
instituted in each jurisdiction - such is the case (for Minimum wage 
only) in Nova Scotia.  Such a review body could, best, review incomes 
from all sources. (This could include review of income ratios, incomes 
from paid-work, other incomes, citizen's incomes,etc)

A possible request to a jurisdiction could be:

a)       Institute an Annual Independent Review Commission and Process 
to recommend a decent level of income for all Ontarians, including those 
in receipt of  Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program 
(ODSP) incomes;
