The Working for Equity in Health context, situation analysis and evidence
review presents a comprehensive overview of the evidence linking work,
worklessness, social protection and health inequalities in Europe. It is
hoped that this report will help stimulate policy makers, practitioners
and researchers to think differently about how they might minimise the
risks of widening health inequalities and approach the goal of improving
the health of communities and populations.
