In Paine's biography he mentions some of the "advice" was written
in shorthand and further states, "I meant to ask him to translate it;
but there were many other things to think of, and I did not
remember." [p. 1567].

Does the _Bible According to Mark Twain_ contain the passages
originally penned in shorthand?  If yes, who translated it and when?
