Langdon Clemens was born in 1870 and died in 1872. The fact that he was a
sickly child and the fact that he was daily, for a while, anyway, taken to
Buffalo General Hospital to be served by a wet-nurse, seems to preclude any
chance for a trip to the church to get water sprinkled on his head. But the
dates of his birth and death give a pretty good indication of where to look
in the newspapers for any announcement of the event.
