Funny:  I was just this morning discussing the subject of this book without
knowing of the book; Twain's style of  performance originating with negro
minstrel performance of the 19th century; AND how that same style went on to
inform vaudeville, and even a great deal of comedy performance today.

I look forward to reading the book.
