Hello,

I apologize if this is an inappropriate posting for the list, but I
thought someone here might be able to provide a lead.

I'm looking for a print of a portrait of Mark Twain done by Gari
Melchers, a Virginia artist.

I'm told that the portrait--which was done after Twain's death--was
commissioned for the state capitol in Missouri and that it now hangs in
the governor's office.

I've seen the portrait, and I have access to a print of a study Melchers
did, but I'm interested in a print of the finished work if such a beast
exists.

Thanks,

Daryl Lease
