So glad you gave the link again.  On my computer Mr. Zehr's message was
garbled with additional symbols and letters!  Fascinating to read the
further details of your thesis.  I've always felt there was an additional
meaning for Twain related to his incorporating some of his brother,
Henry's, character into himself, sort of a phantom twin.  I carried on
about this in
my MA thesis about the impact Henry had on his life reflected in his
attention to twins, including siamese!

Fascinating guy, our Mark Twain.
