Is there any evidence that Sam Clemens ever met Palmer Cox who was a San
Francisco journalist and illustrator at the time Clemens was also working in
San Francisco? Nothing in the _Notebooks and Journals_ or any of the
volumes of _Letters_ point to a meeting. Has a relationship between
the two ever been documented?
