My Oxford companion to mt  has a draft of such a list, though it's far from complete.  I have given an updated e-copy to the mtp.  They promise to revise it further and publis it, but I don't know when

Subject: Chronological list of writings?

Has anyone compiled a chronological list of Twain's writings, including letters, articles, sketches, short stories, books, autobiographical snippets, essays (everything)?
I mean ordered by when he wrote them, not when they were published (or sent, in the case of letters).
I know it would be virtually impossible to place books precisely in time, since some were written over years or even decades...
