This is an update for those of you keeping track of Twain in popular
media.  _Wishbone_, a Public Broadcasting System (PBS)
educational television series for children about "a little dog with a big
imagination," has scheduled three Twain-inspired episodes: "A Tail in
Twain" (2 parts, Sept. 9 and 10, with Wishbone as Tom Sawyer), "Bone
of Arc" (Sept. 20) and "The Prince and the Pooch" (Oct. 14).  More
