Reading "In Defence of Harriet Shelley" -- Twain writes about Negro
cakewalks -- which segues directly to a question I've had on the
list to put to the Forum for a few weeks:

In 1900 H. S. Brennan composed a piece of music titled "Huckleberry
Finn Cakewalk and Two Step". History of Brennan and the composition
appear to be lacking. Has anyone else come across any references
to Brennan and his composition and where it might have been used?
