An academic degree does not a wise man make -- nor, for that
matter, a knick-knack collection. I've met plenty of twerps
in academia. To be fair, I've met some of the finest people
in my life here, too.

The man exhibits, of course, the sin of anachronism in all
it's bold face, but the real damage here is the fuel this supplies
to the politically correct nincompoops who want to ban one
of America's finest novels from our public schools.
