The Center for Mark Twain Studies' Spring 2003 Lecture Series begins tomorrow night at Quarry Farm.  If any of you are in the area and would like to come by and enjoy an evening with us, please do.  Listed below is this springs line-up!

Friday, April 25, 7:30 p.m. Quarry Farm.
"Fishing with Mark Twain"
Dr. Gary Scharnhorst, University of New Mexico

Dr. Scharnhorst will talk about fishing and camping with Huck and Tom-or maybe even Clemen's fishing ventures.

Friday, May 2, 7:30 p.m. Quarry Farm
"Hannibal Report"
Henry Sweets, Director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum

Mr. Sweets will share all the latest developments about Hannibal, Missouri, Have you visited Hannibal? Bring your photos to share.

Friday, May 9, 7:30 p.m. Quarry Farm
"Teaching Mark Twain"
Dr. David E.E. Sloan, University of New Haven

Dr. Sloan will discuss his book Student Companion to Mark Twain, which will be available for purchase at the lecture. An entertaining and surprising evening is certain.

Friday, May 16, 7:30 p.m. Quarry Farm
"Quarry Farm Marginalia"
Dr. Joe Fulton, Baylor University

Dr. Fulton will speak about his new book, Mark Twain in the Margins and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, which you may purchase at the lecture. Also, a special exhibit of Mark Twain's Quarry Farm Marginalia will be on display.
