In his autobiography, MT states that Colonel Sellers was based on "my
mother's favorite cousin, James Lampton ... I merely put him on paper as he
was; he was not a person who could be exaggerated." Does anyone know if MT
ever likened himself to the Colonel, or stated that he and the Colonel were
in any way alike in disposition?

Many thanks,

Joe Towson
