All,

Has anyone located the Quarles farmhouse site?  I
understand that, unlike much of the farm, it's not
under Mark Twain Lake.  But it is on private land, and
I think a little of the foundation remains.

Also, my recommended activity is to take a small car
ferry across the Mississippi.  It gives a sense of the
serenity and danger Jim and Huck would have felt,
quite different than the wonderful tourist boats.
