Can anyone provide a date for when Royal Dairy of Elmira began etching
imprints of Mark Twain's Study on their glass milk jugs? And why -- simply
an advertising ploy? I find news reports that Royal Dairy was incorporated
in Elmira in 1901. The second edition of MARK TWAIN IN ELMIRA discusses
Susan Crane's work in the dairy industry, but no mention of her affiliation
with Royal Dairy and she is not listed as an incorporator of that company.
