Even beyond that kind of thing, the tone of the whole article is exactly
what you might get in a 15-year-old's "report" on Twain. She keeps
identifying him as "this famous author" (or words to that effect), and feels
compelled to describe Huck Finn's "humor that brings enlightenment to the
various situations." And all of this extremely superficial information (or,
in several cases, misinformation) is published in a prominent newspaper
under the heading "Commentary." How can that be, unless mentioning that
Twain was a famous writer qualifies as commentary. Maybe somebody will write
in with a counterpoint for that bold opinion.
