The Fall issue of the MARK TWAIN JOURNAL was shipped by the printer to subscribers and libraries last Friday.
This issue honors Kevin Mac Donnell as a collector and scholar, with essays written by various people who have known and worked with Kevin over the years.
Also in the 176-page issue are articles about Mary Ann Cord and John T. Lewis, HUCKLEBERRY FINN's Civil War connections, texts and techniques for teaching Twain's writings, a possible early newspaper letter by Clemens, and the new staff members at the Center for Mark Twain Studies, as well as notes and book reviews.
Please recommend that your campus or public library begin to subscribe to this bi-annual journal (the library rate is only $30).
The Spring 2017 issue will be guest-edited by Dr. Joseph Csicsila. It still has space for additional contributions. The email address is www.marktwainjournal.com.
