I have heard on this list that Col. Sherburn character in Twain's
"Huckelberry Finn" is an actual character in Twain's life. Something about
his father, a lawyer, defending a man named Sherburn for shooting someone
and that the character Boggs is also real in Twain's life. Can ANYONE
further explain the situation. It's pretty important that I find out :) TIA!
