There are a few comments on Bryan related to the 1896 election. These
are in _Mark Twain's Correspondence with Henry Huttleston Rogers_.
According to the annotations, Rogers was responsible for raising
a fund of five million dollars to ensure McKinley's victory over
Bryan.
