I echo Hal Bush's comments--Barb's review is an outstanding analysis of her
subject, the compare/contrast with Hill was detailed and necessary, and her
pointing to the flaws in oversight point to possible new work on these
fascinating years. I've heard comments from Ham in the past that he has
re-thought some of his views--it would be very interesting to hear his
responses to this new study.
